Health, life and leave benefits
A University employee whose position is terminated due to a workforce reduction is entitled to a leave payout on the date of separation, (the same amount as provided in the Paid Leave section of the Working@VCU: Great Place HR policy) and up to 12 months of contributions to the employee’s individual health and life insurance benefits. If the employee accepts a position with reduced hours (below 75% FTE), the employee is eligible for up to one year of the employer-paid health contribution and life insurance.
