Compensation program administration
VCU HR is charged with the design of the HR Plan and has shared responsibility for the proper administration of the Compensation program with department heads and managers. Managers have delegated authority for decision making within prescribed limits. HR is available to provide consultation and guidance as to the implementation of the program and maintains the authority for final decision-making should legal concerns arise. To ensure fair and consistent administration of job titling and compliance with relevant federal laws, VCU HR may change job family and job titles that are determined to be incorrectly assigned.
